Scope and purpose of data processing
The data provided on the quote-request and contact forms (name, e-mail address, phone number, postal code of the site, description of the quote request) are processed so that we can meaningfully respond to enquiries and prepare quotes.
Legal basis of data processing
The legal basis of data processing is the consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which the data subject gives by submitting the form. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by sending a notice to info@vkaputechnika.hu.
Data retention period
Data provided in a quote request are stored for a maximum of 1 year after the quote is issued so that we can stay in touch. In the case of an order, the data are retained in accordance with applicable tax and accounting regulations.
Rights of data subjects
The data subject may request information about the processed data, request their rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing. Complaints may be filed with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11.).
Use of cookies
Our website uses a minimal number of cookies for its operation. On your first visit we display a cookie notice bar where you can choose whether to accept the cookies used for web analytics as well. Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage), so we will not disturb you again on your next visit.
We distinguish two cookie categories:
- Necessary cookies: for basic site operation (e.g. form submission, remembering consent). These do not require separate consent.
- Analytics cookies (optional): cookies set by Google Analytics that create anonymised statistics about site use. They are loaded only with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your browser local storage (localStorage).
Google Analytics (web analytics)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, operated by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), to measure traffic. The service places cookies in your browser and collects information in anonymised form (with IP anonymisation) about how our visitors use the site — for example, which pages they visit, how much time they spend and from which device and browser they arrive.
The purpose of processing is to develop the site and to tailor content to visitor needs. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Details: Google Privacy Policy.
Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection)
To protect the quote-request form from abuse, we use reCAPTCHA Enterprise, operated by Google Ireland Limited. reCAPTCHA automatically analyses visitor behaviour in the background (mouse movement, time spent on page, etc.) and calculates a score indicating whether traffic is human or automated. For this, the service transmits technical data (IP address, browser identifier, cookies) to Google servers.
The legal basis is the site operator's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in preventing abuse. It is required to submit the form. Details: Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service.
Data processors
- Viacom Informatika Kft. (hosting service) — the website and incoming form messages run on Viacom's servers and are forwarded through them to the Data Controller's mailbox.
- Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA) — for the purposes described above.
